This is my blog to show a few photos of layouts for the Tomy/Tomica range of trains/track/accessories, especially the Thomas the Tank Engine series by them. There are plenty of layouts/photos for the usual model trains out there in the internet wilderness, but little for this range of plastic trains. I enjoy making/designing layouts for my son to play (and I enjoy them too.)

Hi, may I know more abut the auto switching tracks that you have? Is it from Tomy itself?

hi there Fred can you please help me out with finding a decent plarail source over there, even better do you think you could find some prices for me, or even purchase and post a few things for me? well for my son actually?
or can you send me a few decent links- that are in English as I’m totally useless at any other languages?-my English isn’t much better either!
specifically double straights, double curves, and ramps-(straight and curved) also the small track risers, and high level piers-(single and double)
The reason I’m asking you is soldiers are generally much more trustworthy than the average Joe. i realise i may be a little cheeky to ask such a thing but you never know till you try. im really struggling to find these items in the uk, when i do they are ridiculously priced so i dont bother.

Hi Fred, great blog, like yourself I am keen TOMY train fan. have you ever come across a TOMY software where you can design track layouts with.? glen@avalon.com.hk
I would love some track design software... I doubt if Tomy would produce it..... most customers are families with fairly small sets which get outgrown. Us few keen adults are few and far between... not worth their trouble. Not quite the same as Hornby.
I recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
